Here is an example of how you could write about two of the topics:
June 12th, 1627
I am doing my best here at Plimouth Colony. I have been
assigned to be in the militia. Every male between 16-60 must join.
I have been given a metal helm, breastplate, bandolier, and musket.
Gosh, they are heavy. At night I keep watch next to our cannons on top
of the Fort. The fort is on top of a hill, so the view is pretty nice.
July 6th, 1627
My home is much smaller than it was in England.
We fashioned it from wood. The inners walls are lined with clay we dug
ourselves. The roofs are thatched with reeds. I am surprised how well
this worked. There are eight people who share the house. It is a lucky night
when no one is snoring! It is very cramped, so cramped in fact that we
hang our chairs on the wall.
